Apple Unveils New Studio Display and Studio Display XDR
Apple also refreshed its desktop displays with two new models aimed at creative professionals and power users. π₯οΈ Studio Display β Refined Classic The new Studio Display retains: A 27-inch 5K Retina panel A 12 MP Center Stage camera Three-mic array and six-speaker spatial audio Thunderbolt 5 and USB-C ports Up to 96 W charging power for host devices This model bridges productivity and creative workflows with refined connectivity. π₯οΈ Studio Display XDR β Professional HDR Performance The new Studio Display XDR steps up significantly with: Mini LED backlighting and 2,304 dimming zones Peak HDR brightness up to 2,000 nits Adaptive sync from 47 Hz to 120 Hz Extended color support (P3 and Adobe RGB) Up to 140 W charging via Thunderbolt This makes the XDR version better for professional HDR color grading and media production workflows. Both displays will begin shipping March 11, with prices starting around $1,599 for the Studio Display and $3,299 for the Studio Display XDR.
